Psychotherapy fees for Clients

Update: September 1, 2026 - I am unable to meet with new clients until early 2027

$210 per 50-minute session
$100 for a 40-minute initial consultation

Psychotherapy is exempt from HST.

I can consider reduced fees for older adults who are at retirement age (65+), not working full-time and would not otherwise be able to afford regular therapy. Please inquire for details.


Consultation fees for Clinical Supervisees

$190 per 50-minute session

Clinical Supervision for psychotherapists is exempt from HST.


Cancellation and Payment Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled session are charged in full. Payments are payable by e-transfer on the day of the session.


Insurance coverage

Psychotherapy by private practitioners is not covered by OHIP or other equivalent provincial health care coverage. For private insurance coverage, please check to see if services provided by a ‘Registered Psychotherapist’ are included in your policy. I issue monthly receipts for clients to submit claims with their insurance provider.


Location

Almost all of my therapy work now occurs online via a secure video platform.
I maintain an office in west-midtown Toronto where I can meet for in-person consultations, however ongoing sessions take place virtually or by phone.
